Friend, you assume a lot of things about how I look at people. I've been around church people long enough to spot the well-rehearsed and well-healed slickery of this sort. God loves everyone and we are all just trying to do our best, I judge them not. No, my friend, the resentment comes from the rejection that soon follows from these sorts, especially the boys. Once the boys get to know me they cast me adrift! My strategy is to reject them first before they can hurt me. Is that not obvious? |
