Larry's goal seems to have been to warn Manny of the likely consequences that would be likely to arise if someone takes Manny's pro-contact (pro sex with kids) message too far. Larry revealed that he'd served time in jail for a sexual offense and told Manny how to look him up on the sex offenses list. It's safe to assume that Larry wanted his experiences to serve as a warning to Manny. A while later Manny made one of his many posts describing how his globetrotting rich western friend used to pick up children for casual anonymous sex hookups in impoverished third world countries. Manny talked about how once the children of the community got wind of the great sex they made a nuisance of themselves lining up outside the rich westerner's door. The hotel manager soon takes you aside, and says, "Please, sir -- we can't have so many boys visiting your room. Please do something to discourage them. Thank you, sir." Manny didn't appreciate the "criticism," so he dropped a strong hint that since Larry had "attacked/belittled/insulted" him, Manny might use the information that Larry had shared with him in confidence to get revenge. You might think that Manny would learn his lesson from that experience, since he got a lot of angry feedback, but his response to Sharpshooter's post yesterday (https://boychat.org/messages/1626701.htm) shows that he's still walking that balance beam between on one side of his mouth telling people that molesting children is perfectly normal and unlikely to be prosecuted, while the other side gloats at the boychatters who possibly got doxxed due to personal information they shared here, because they were guilty of the dual crimes of not listening to/criticizing Manny. Larry understandably didn't come back, and that is only scratching the surface of the number of people who have stopped participating in BC due to how dangerous it is to be a part of this perceived pedo ring with people who describe sex tourism in such glowing terms. Manny got rid of a critic and just be careful, because if you criticize him he will do whatever he can to get rid of you.
