Insisting on "i am the opposite" gender is an affirmation of a binary sex dichotomy. And that is what i and other call bullshit on. Even surgery does not make you the other biological sex. But you confirm my suspicion that it is really about not fitting into a binary gender role scheme. And i am not pushing anybody into a real masculine role for men or "stay in your kitchen" role for women. I like nice people, and sex/gender is irrelevant. I am not "supporting" the binary. There is enough evidence to consider sex as a binary system for all mammals including humans. Even intersex does not change that. You are either a man or a woman, based on your chromosomes. That is binary. However, your behavior can be on the whole range. If little blue pills make you feel good, that is just nice. I once took little white pills that helped me with anxiety and fear. They helped med for a year before i got off them. |
