I haven't been a legal adult for long, and I can say that what you feel is something real and genuine. Nowadays, the freedoms of young people really are so much more restricted. You're right about the purity - as someone who came on from the south, purity culture's a sure on thing.

I remember trying to be around some of my friends when I was younger. The difficulty because of how damn paranoid parents could be.

Glad to have you here, and I want you to know lots of kids (and recent ex-kids) relate.
