No age based consent

I guess this would belong to the more radical ideas, and I am not the first to come up with this.
The whole idea of an age of consent is misleading.

Of course, sexually motivated crimes are a fact, and in general the idea of a justice system that convicts and punishes the offenders is necessary. And consent is the point of distinction between a voluntary activity and a crime. And also naturally, children will express themselves differently than adults and often need a bit of protection. But to have some defined age at which consent is possible is just fundamentally wrong.
There should be no age based distinction in the question whether a sexual activity was legal or not. To be sure, in the context of the judicial system, a crime against a child might result in a higher punishment, as e.g. someone who stabbed a child might get a higher sentence than someone who stabbed an adult, but the details should be left to each countries laws and their courts. But that goes so deep into the crime side of the story. Actually voluntary sexual activities between humans, no matter of their age, should not be a question of legal affairs.
