I see your point, and I wasn't trying to imply that "nonchoice" has to mean that you are just born with a preference, and that your environment and things you are exposed to in life aren't a factor. I always assume that they have to be, but I doubt that they are the only factor. For an example, if anyone here that is only into boys had been spent their entire lives living in some nightmare world where the only people they were ever exposed to were elderly woman, I don't see how it could be possible for them to identify as someone that likes other boys. However, I don't think that they would end up being straight and into elderly woman either. Probably some people would try it since it was the only thing they were ever exposed to, but I doubt it would be fulfilling and enjoyable for any of them. I'm guessing every one would still in some way be wired to like the same things, and dislike the same things, and I don't think they could ever be sexually happy with elderly woman in that world. So I think we basically agree. |
