'I don't get it. JavaScript is a known risk...'

Did you know that greasemonkey is made of javascript? Did you know that GreaseMonkey scripts are made by unknown people on the internet? Our local self appointed security guard made a post recently warning of the dangers of using javascript on BC. He says he isn't going to trust some unknown person on the internet with his safety and lists off the websites (such as BoyWiki and FStube) that he doesn't trust any longer, because he is sooo reluctant to visit a website that uses javascript. "Well, I'm sorry. I'm not going to trust some unknown person on the Internet with MY safety.
