If gays decided to drop us from their rights movement it's because we didn't give them a more compelling reason not to drop us. The men and boys who found their lives destroyed by the anti-boylove hysteria were human beings worthy of decent treatment, just as much as gay men. Isn't this a "compelling reason" not to drop them? What other reason do you think the men and boys could or should have given gay men in return for an acknowledgement of their right not to be unjustly persecuted? Blaming the men and boys concerned is tantamount to siding with their - and our - oppressors. |
