Lost to the world at a relatively young age, and I also loved each of the characters he created, being a veritable internally-consistent ecosystem of personalities (even Marvin). Better than the Bible for making sense of the universe.

I recently stole an e-copy of the sixth book in the trilogy.. I'll read it one of these days.
