He won't be the last to urge you to keep all of your conversations here in public, where they can monitor them, but most of us have off board friends who we talk to, and there's no reason why you shouldn't too. You sound like you know what you are doing, taking it slow and getting to know someone before you share anything that you wouldn't want repeated in public. One of the reasons that many posters are ultra paranoid these days is that we had a situation not long ago where a poster let down his guard off board with another BCer and the other poster made a veiled threat: "Maybe I'll call you. I've got your photo, your IRL full name, address, and current phone number (I believe they are current) which are all legally available. (You were incredibly sloppy and careless, you know...) Then we can share stories.
