Mary Harrington hates BLs

While Mary Harrington's book is interesting and worth reading, it's important to understand that she is a sex-negative feminist who is deeply hostile towards BLs. She has repeatedly attacked Peter Thatchell on Twitter (see link), and she has described Judith Butler, Patrick Califia, and Michel Foucault as "nonce-adjacent theorists" (sic).

It's pretty obvious from her liberal use of the word "nonce" in her tweets and her disingenuous dismissal of positive man-boy experiences that she's not interested in the truth and that she just wants to be hateful and bigoted.
