I have been arguing that feminism arose in opposition to liberalism, but (like other liberation movements) was captured by it. Do you find any contradiction in your assertion that the LIBERAtion movement opposed LIBERAlism ?) Any movement for equal civil rights requires the liberalization of a conservative and archaic order. The problem is not precisely liberalism and capitalism, the problem is excessive government control, bureaucracy and corporatism. Capitalism is the only viable form of existence at the moment, but due to the problems listed above, it leads to abuses of management. |
