INTERNATIONAL BOY LOVE DAY I've noticed that over time especially recently there seems to be a bit of confusion and often disagreement among boylovers over what day, exactly, INLD is to be observed. In a group chat the other day, I mentioned doing something special on December 21 for IBLD, and another chatter "corrected" me, saying IBLD is actually on Saturday the 23rd. I told him that I got my information from Boywki, Which states on the home page December 21, further noting that this is the solstice date, and that the special Saturday is December 16 (not the 23rd as my friend believed). Whoever Was in charge of determining whea we celebrate IBLD should have been more clear on what the exact dates are. Is it the Saturday after the solstice in the summer and The Saturday before the solstice in the winter? Or is it ON the solstice? And if so, then what's the deal with these Saturdays? Maybe someone here can cut through the confusion and explain how it all got so complicated. As for me, I'm going to go by what Boywiki says and light my candle on December 21.
