I used to be a keen photographer (back in the days of real cameras), and I absolutely took any opportunity to take candid snaps of gorgeous boys - many of which the somewhat censorious representatives of the Metropolitan Police were forced by the court to allow me to keep - and which, to this day, I still find erotic. When I was out and about with my trusty Olympus I never asked - nor felt I had to ask - permission to take a shot, even though, on occasion, the boys in the frame may not have been aware that I was pointing my camera in their direction. Of course I love enjoying the spectacle that the beauty of boys always provides, whether IRL or in movies, but I have never drilled holes in toilet walls or carefully placed mirrors in public conveniences, or hung around with my camera like some weird pied piper sniper in the hope I might catch a boy peeing or jerking off. I am not holier than thou, or indeed anyone, but in SN's book that did shock me a little. PS I should perhaps mention that I love your posts generally and feel you, along with HRH The King of Zembla, kit, pharmakon, Sick Rose and a few others have really kept this place alive and relevant. |
