He didn't get on law enforcement's radar from CSAM. He got on their radar when his 8yo friend told his parents that Matthew gave him a blowjob in his bed. Also, they didn't find out about his victims through his personal CSAM, but the cops reached out to all the families he babysat for and they also set up a hotline. He also didn't make porn with all 18 boys yet was convicted of molesting all 18. In fact, Matthew was convicted of giving the 8yo a blowjob when there were no video or pictures of it. His whole defense was he said/he said and it didn't work. My point is that even if Matthew had no porn, he still would had been charged and convicted. I do agree it was an overkill of a sentence because William Martin fucked, pimped and sold homemade porn of a bunch of boys and only got 50 whereas Matthew got 700 years for doing much less. Maybe the judge in his case is planning to run for office. |
