Maybe; maybe not -- I could probably find worse. But any "discussion" that unthinkingly slaps the "MAP" label on this and that and prattles on about the "MAP Community" is of next to zero interest to me -- other perhaps than as an example of what is to be avoided and how any political movement needs to go back to first principles. I am not a member of the "MAP Community" -- never have been and never will be. The very term "minor" is loaded with political baggage; it's a prissy manufactured label devoid of power or resonance. Any writer who fails to see that -- who uses the label without thought -- is hardly worth reading. Have you ever heard anyone say something along the lines of "look at that cute minor over there!" or "a bunch of minors were playing soccer on the street in front of my house."?.
