Interesting political and historical framing. Good screenshot of the current situation.

I think that political parties have simply lost sight on what to do with pedophilia. I don't think it is that much about the 'right' and the 'left'. It is a just a juicy sensationalist topic, so they all exploit it whenever they have the chance. The political situation is also different between the US and Europe.

Maybe younger boys are more self-confident, but the older ones I know feel ashamed about their bodies. I often like fat guys and I get annoyed hearing them say 'are you sure you want my pics? but I'm fat, you know :/'. I see the hairstyles stuff as an attempt to create a new identity. Maybe a new masculity?

I like the ending of the article, but overall, if this post is supposedly the 'good news', I'm not sure if I want to hear the 'bad news' ;)
