Yes, why is NOW a time where it's "abuse", but never throughout history? If they are claiming some enlightenment in today's world, just turn on Jersey Shore to debunk that one. There is already a time called "The Age of Enlightenment" as you know,(18th Century).

Back then the AOC was 11. "The French Napoleonic code provided the legal context in 1791 when it established an age of consent of 11 years." Younger or non-existent before then.
