Kinda cute, actually.

Not my favorite boy hairstyle, but, yeah, the boys were cute and, well, boyish.

Is this a return to the 1890s? Isn't that hair style what Little Lord Fauntleroy sported?

Fawning mothers loved it -- along with the broad white collars, knee pants, and all that other Victorian frippery.

Boys hated it and a generation later, thanks to Lord Baden-Powell of blessed memory, we got short pants (as in bare knees), short hair, and boys marching about in the woods away from their mothers and with each other.

So we'll see. History doesn't repeat itself but it does sometimes rhyme.

As for the scissors, sure -- as long as they're used on HAIR ONLY!!!
