We are all guilty of it... and to some point that's fine, we should all indulge into fantasies. It's a healthy activity. The problem arises when we do engage into some acts or beliefs without realizing the primary reason for it is that we are scared of facing the reality of boylove. In particular, we start blaming AOC laws as if they were the main obstacle between us and the BL relationships we crave for. They are not. In fact, I'm rather grateful for them, as they certainly helped me get loving relationships with boys. The most obvious benefit to me is that they eliminate 99% of the competitors ;) But AOC laws hurt kids, too. Just like drug and alcohol prohibition made things worse for consumers, AOC laws make real sexual abuse both more likely and more severe, while it deprives kids from many meaningful relationships with adults and opportunities to safely explore their sexuality. In fact, AOC laws may primarily be a way to force kids into silence regarding their sexual needs and desires. Yet, just removing AOC laws may cause more problems than it offers solutions. I don't think we should care so much about them, if at all. When humanity is ready to accept boylove, AOC laws will become obsolete, and it won't really matter if they are still in place or not. There are already plenty of laws who are never enforced, because society has evolved and their purpose has disappeared. What we really need is to engage with real boys, giving them the attention, care and love they deserve. Eventually, boylove will naturally prevail, as its benefits will become obvious to all. But this change can't happen as long as we are busy escaping reality and finding excuses not to develop BL relationships.
