Physical abuse

Posted by Etenne on 2022-August-16 13:21:45, Tuesday

I grew up in a fundamentalist christian religion and you would think that the gay kids and the BL kids would get a lot of abuse, which they did but it was not often physical abuse, it was more emotional abuse.

Several here are in to teaching kids to "man up" but from my experience it was those kids that got the worst physical abuse. I remember having to watch those kids being beaten in front of the class. It may have just been my misfortune to have had religion class with the "Dean of Disciple" first thing in the morning, when apparently he took care of business from the day before.

I suppose that I am traumatized to this day having to watch that day in and day out. Some of the boys took their beating like a man and some cried. I suspect that they ones who cried got beat worse. And of course some of these kids got it twice because if their parents found out they were beat at school, they got it twice as bad at home.

My point is that the kids that were more "boyish" and who had been taught act like "men" were the ones that tended to get beat by the adults. I find that sort of interesting..... how little heterosexuals get indoctrinated into the heterosexual narrative that justifies and promotes violence, dominance and the use of force to control others.
