As a skeptic and an empiricist, I have to perpetually open to new evidence that challenges my beliefs.

And I gave yes/no answers, which I think leaves a lot of room for imagination. Though I will be brutally honest once more, I have little interest in having AoC kinds of conversations in general, and much less on an open forum like BC.

"Maybe you can understand how our mental state and reality don't correspond to each other, and this in itself causes mental problems."

As much as I can, I try to see the world through the eyes of MAPs. This is a prerequisite to doing good science and not being a destructive force for this community. I don't need to agree with what I see, but it's important to try and understand people here as best I can.
