I'm sorry about your losses, Godspell. Lifeline has always impressed me and that this community has been willing to support and care for its own, when the rest of us have done so little. And sadly, I guess I was not shocked by these findings, but maybe shocked that they were so high, even higher that groups we expect to feel especially lonely and suicidal. Either way, we felt the findings required special mention to draw readers' attention to them; sometimes powerful findings can go unnoticed because the statistics are deceptively simple and we wanted to make sure these results were highlighted. |
