The point of the article seems to be how to overcome cognitive distortions. Moreover, the article seems to focus on cognitive distortions that have been internalized by the self. Remember Fusewire? He was an user here, at BC, who seriously thought that he was ill and wanted to stop being a boy-lover. He went as far as suggesting that we are even more sick for being fine with being BLs ourselves. He even tried to blame my pedophilia for the depression episodes I had as a teen, even though I'm dead serious when I say that those things are unrelated.

That's an internalized cognitive distortion. I still see people here who are like that to a lesser extent. If they could rid themselves of such thoughts, they would sure be happier. And the article is about that, although in the realm of music, rather than pedophilia. It just takes some adaptation to make it work, so that pedophiles can stop feeling guilty over what they are and what they feel.
