oh, come on.

this has been covered before.

'if you don't have labels, how on earth will you know what that thing is.'

i am picturing my grandma's canning cupboard, where she kept all of the stuff that she canned. she also had dates printed on those labels.

her explanation (i don't know what else to call it) was that when she was younger and had her wits about her, she knew what everything was and when she canned it.
but as she got older and closer to her end, she started worrying about the rest of the family. so she labeled.

myself, i just wish that idiots were required to wear a label stating their ''denomination''.
