I think that tying the terms to fixed ages is problematic, hon, because kids attain puberty at different ages in different countries, given different conditions. So, in my modest opinion: Nepiophilia: babies, too young to speak. Pedophilia: children old enough to speak, but without any trance of puberty. Hebephilia: puberty started, but has not ended. Ephebophilia: puberty ended, but the person still has not attained full maturity. Teleiophilia: attained maturity, but has not yet started the process of decay. Mesophilia: started process of decay. Gerontophilia: the decay has started to impact daily functioning, enough to keep the person from exercising their role in society. Necrophilia: when love comes too late. |
