In an era where developed countries have the easiest access to all human knowledge and resources for research more easily available now than ever before, we still seem to have the majority of people unable or unwilling to actually research.

Our great minds of a hundred years ago or more would probably shake their heads at how ignorant we can still be with so much ability to learn right at our fingertips. What are most people using instead? Social media and the television news stations, where statistics can even be made up and millions of people will soak that in.

What's funny, at least the ironic way, is the media hardly even tries to hide the inability to do real reporting:

We cannot even argue with people with studies and logic if they cannot even identify what those are. You can try but it is like playing chess with a pigeon. The pigeon will just shit on the board and strut around like it won anyway.
