I wish...

...that was all it took. But, I lurked here for many years, long before I had a story of my own, reading other people stories. And I always said, that wont happen to me, I'm too smart for that. So, you set rules for yourself, to keep you from becoming a target. Simple enough. But all it took was one day, one intance of letting my guard down, and breaking my own rules.

And I wouldn't say life ruining....maybe life altering. Life is what you make of it. It will definitely be harder, but not impossible. You can let it destroy you, as I almost did. Or, you can turn it around on them. Live your life as full as you can, fill your life with happiness, whatever that is....and let it piss everyone else off who tries to bring you down.

So, be yourself...live your life how you want....just dont ever think it cant happen to you. Be safe :)
