I am interested in scientific research into the consequences of the voluntary sexual acts of “minors” with adults on the later mental health of the former “minors”. The relevant disturbance variables have to be controlled, because otherwise differences between people with and without voluntary acts could be wrongly attributed to voluntary sexual acts. But what are these relevant confounding variables when researching voluntary sexual acts in particular? Sexology knows these confounding variables quite well for the (alleged) “sexual child abuse” variable. But this variable includes forced and voluntary sexual acts, so the matter of voluntary sexual acts could be different. One might assume that many of the confounding variables for (alleged) “sexual child abuse” may be relevant for the voluntary acts too, maybe a little bit less. But guesswork is one thing and knowledge is another. So far I do not know of a study that shows the relevant confounding variables regarding voluntary sexual acts of "minors" with adults on the basis of data. Does anyone know more here? So my question is: Are there any studies that show which variables correlate with voluntary „minor“-adult-sex and with later mental health problems? |
