All I can say is I have came here on and off over the years, getting busy because of work. I was a workaholic for a long while, school and work being all I knew 7 days a week. I have been changing this recently, which COVID-19 causing the quarantine helped that too. I am in the middle of a transition of my life to try to enjoy it more now. |
There were times I would come here for a brief time, but then get quickly busy again.
However, I do now know there are a few others around who match up on this interest a lot too.
Don't worry, there are no wrong views here. If you think boys in long silky shorts looks sexier, that is okay! If you say they look better in pants...well then that's crossing the line (kidding!). I can....kinda....maybe a little....see the appeal of the longer basketball shorts, but pretty much for only one reason - it makes thighs a rare treat.
Keeping in mind, I grew up with that style anyway. It was a hunt for thighs, and I was always on the watch. A boy sitting back on the grass with his knees up, the shorts sliding down. Finally, I get to see what his thighs look like! I remember seeing other boys in middle school excited when the weather warmed up after waiting 4-5 long months of wondering how they look in shorts.
The long baggy shorts made boys who rebelled on that style stick out a lot too. The crowd of boys moving between classes and then -boom-, extra legs within the group.
There is probably a significant chance had I been born a different era, one where it was common and so normal, I never would have formed a special interest for seeing boys in short shorts. Then again, plenty of other boy lovers who are from that era share this interest with me!
Yes, "uncultured swine" is a more recent joking-insult now that is popular. xD That is also something I will call friends.
I don't think you're wrong to consider uniforms being a type of coercion, especially in times when it was a requirement. Think about this though, I had learned a few years back about the US army (and other countries) having the men wear "silkies", which are short shorts. In fact, my grandpa (who was a veteran), would tease one of my cousins when he wore basketball shorts, calling them that. Another name was "Ranger Panties". In these circumstances the shorts were obviously not a choice since it is my understanding you do what you are told. From what I have read and heard around this though, the men enjoy them (especially in the desert heat), and it was normal for them. For other countries shorts is even part of their main uniform.
Not pics of boys, but for the sake of examples if anyone is curious:
My counter argument for making it a requirement for boys to wear short shorts, no excuses, no exceptions, is the possibility increasing a boy's stress levels and anxiety. But if all boys are doing it, if less body shaming was happening, it would likely hardly be forceful. Most boys today prefer shorts over pants, even rebelling wearing them in winter, or that famous article of boys wearing skirts to school since school forbid shorts with their uniform. I still see boys in shorts all the time, one of my YFs from about 9 years ago NEVER wore pants, only shorts. The style is just not as short as I would prefer...
