You need to figure out for yourself whether you think of your pederasty as a personal secret or as a matter or personal privacy. People treat all kinds of things as a matter of privacy rather than a "secret" and that play's a key difference in whether or not it becomes a burden to you. If you are distant from your parents, you might want to reflect on why that is and whether it really comes down to being a closeted pederast or if there are bigger things getting in the way. Even if that distance is solely down to being closeted, it does not follow that coming out of the closet with them would do anything to repair that distance. It's not out of the question, but it's safe to say that such problems are typically more complicated than a single issue and may reflect a broader distrust you may have towards them. You should try to close that distance in other ways before bringing out the "P" word. |
