There's something creepy about these YHBoys videos -- at least to me. Yeah, the boys are beautiful and sexy -- they've clearly been selected for their beauty -- and they prance about in their identically adorable outfits with their soft voices mouthing lyrics to banal songs. But these videos have been made with the intention to arouse -- and arouse they do -- without a trace of honesty. That icky-poo dishonest boy eroticism -- deliberate stimulus of that "aww, aren't they cute" emotions without an honest willingness to face up to just what is going on here and who is trying to elicit what from whom -- it's one reason I could never abide Libera or Boys Air Choir (I admit the link TPKA Boychoirholic posted above to the Libera boy singing Schubert was very enjoyable; the boy can sing and he is singing real music -- it's not an exercise in covert porn, even though he's a nice looking boy.) You want real honesty about the sexiness of boys? Look at something like this: https://www.artdependence.com/articles/symbolism-of-fruit-in-caravaggio-s-boy-with-a-basket/ not to mention the two paintings featured in this article: https://www.theguardian.com/artanddesign/2013/may/27/caravaggio-lust-talent-power-jonathan-jones. That's honesty in art. Here's something else that revels in the glory of sheer boyishness: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=30g1hdtl4U0 It's genuine achievement that this boy (Cai Thomas) is demonstrating -- and yeah, he's a looker -- genuine art. To respond erotically to THAT -- well that is response to eros as a spark of divinity. If I'm just going be manipulated by someone using boys as things, I'd rather cope with honest porn. Having those YHboys strut around with nothing on but slave collars and responding to a sadistic Master barking orders -- well at least their erections and cries of sexual excitement might be a record of genuine emotion.
