According to Wikipedia, WordPress is owned by a US company, Automattic Inc. "The company's name is a play on its founder's first name, Matt." It also owns Tumblr. Their Web site lists the following contact information:

WordPress hosts vast numbers of political blogs, and it is disappointing if complaints from the British gutter press can get someone booted. I don't know if it is surprising or not.

I have said many times that a attack on our political free speech could emerge during this US political year, but I wouldn't have expected it to launch from the UK. Hopefully Tom, and some of the other recently suppressed voices, will find new and less vulnerable outlets.
