The questions of those surveys are often quite friendly, but then the publications about the results of these surveys are often deeply pedophobic. Around 2050 my friend Apertado will have learned this. One question is: „Have you ever been the victim of sexual abuse as a minor, by someone who was an adult at the time?“ It is unscientific not to give a definition for „sexual abuse“ here. Another question is: „If you have never engaged sexually with a child, or underage adolescent, when you were at least 5 years older than the minor, please check all the reasons you refrained from such behaviour:“ This questions probably shows that the authors defines „child sexual abuse“ as sexual contact of a „child“ with a person five years or more older. I am rather sure we will see that definition in the publication. Nevertheless, yes: This research is interesting and the author is much less pedophobic than most other reseaerchers. |
