"Stuff on Primetime tv could be banned .. afterall violence is alright in this society and that's all they play on primetime tv"

I remember coming across an animated artist that was selling comics (containing boys as well). They follow the laws of no nudity allowed at all, but I could easily find children being literally eaten by trolls, including body parts, being sawed in half, all the works of gore.

I couldn't help but laugh at the irony of that being allowed, even legal, same with television - LITERAL murder, even of children, is considered less offensive than even non-sexual nudity.

But yeah YouTube in particular is going rogue with censorship, banning, and even destroying the culture that content creators worked so hard to create.

I think creating an alternative for YouTube would not actually be that hard, code-wise. We'd just have to be able to compete with all the massive storage and server space. I've been hoping someone out there would be able to step up the plate. Maybe we could even do something interesting, like shared space around the web like torrenting but still like YouTube in an open minded, non-profit community like YouTube once was. That's my random late night idea though.

Oh and LMAO @ the Karen reference! :)
