If the lord knows a young boy's heart, then hes going to be disappointed with all of his flock who think they are being bad when they are sexual, but don't care, like a naughty animal, or even get a thrill from stretching norms.

If he knows whats in our hearts and we feel bad about what we are doing sexually, then seems to me he can help us either stop doing what we don't want to do, or feel better about what we do. But if what we like is being naughty little scamps who sneak in like a bad puppy grabbing a slice of pizza while no one is looking, scrambling away guilty af when caught, then how is that person supposed to relate to God?

Just a funny question that popped into my argumentative mind, but I do 100% believe that our religious beliefs are a choice. If something is making you feel bad and the only thing you need to feel better about something is to change your beliefs, then its fine to change. Lots of people hold that other belief. Its common. You'll be normal still, just won't have that shameful thought bothering you.
