I was going to put "Colonels coup," which is a term you hear sometimes, but I think the "faction" you are talking about would have to be at a lower rank. The US military reflects to social makeup of the country at large. The elites are few and powerful, the grunts many and oppressed. This might have to be a Captains coup, or even a Lieutenants coup?

Anyway, sorry for the criticism that helped set this off, and thanks for the responsive notes of positivity. Keep up the good work!
