He's not likely to be president now anyway, but I argue this case for the sake of future candidates who might adopt a sensible form of socialism. If you read my discussion with Jessy, you'll see my emphasis on the importance of wealth decentralization insofar as it applies to childlove.

Sanders is the only candidate in recent memory who has offered a viable alternative to the disastrous economic model of America. You seem to be fixated on 'evidence', but surely reasonable discourse will suffice. You don't need evidence to see that society is utterly brainwashed and enslaved by the ruling capitalist elite, and nowhere is this more explicit than in America. The world economy panders to the US and if it were to be reformed the world would be reformed. Biden is not going to bring about revolutionary reform, just as Obama didn't. As for Trump, he is literally a billionaire globalist. The world is largely dominated by American profit-culture (Hollywood, Apple, Microsoft, McDonald's, Disney, Amazon etc.). Exactly who's globalism does Trump think he is rejecting? It makes no sense to me.

I don't live in America, so I'm not as knowledgeable about Sanders' history as others might be. But what I am saying is that it's that type of viewpoint and belief system that is the solution, not the man himself. Whether or not he believes what he says is another issue, but we need someone who does believe that. I'll paste this in case you didn't read it to save repeating myself:

We need to be fighting for economic liberation at the same time as youth liberation, for me it's the same fight. Children are placed on a predetermined path which only leads to profit for the ruling classes. They don't want children to wonder from this path, they don't want them to experience something so liberating as sensual pleasure at such a young age, because it could free them from the shackles of materialism. I think it's important we argue this case. Humanity will never allow itself to think freely while finance reigns supreme. This is why I think it's imperative that the CL community adopts a left-wing stance.
