Like you said, often in this world we don't get to choose, so I'd say I would be happy with either. And especially that both can exist and not cancel the other one out!

For me it's important to demystify sex, and not make it such a huge deal. I no longer believe sex "binds souls together" or anything like that. Obviously it can, if you love someone deeply and they love you back then sex with that person can be the most magical thing. But often it's just for fun, and there's nothing wrong with separating them out.
