and I know exactly where it is, because I can't go past it without opening it up to some of the NatGeo type pictures of naked boys. Copyright 1987, the hysteria was already well underway, but the internet hadn't taken off yet.

Anthropology is descriptive, not practical. Future textbooks should have a chapter on the changing views of sexuality, with sections on alternate sexualities, including a section on the curious obsession with oppressing childhood sexuality of our generation. Ethnocentrism has always been condemned, and they should rightfully condemn the imposition of sexual mores on the undeveloped world.

I was just thinking that the opposite of orthodoxy is heterodoxy. So shouldn't the opposite of heterosexual be orthosexual? Homosexual should be the opposite of xenosexual, as in sex between humans rather than interspecies.
