My writing teacher taught me,..

to not use too many words when fewer would do. reread look for errors and condense. then, the question, is it written at a sixth grade level, so as to make it comprehensible to the larger audience? but i dare say, with the state of education today, and the intelligence of the graduate, it should probably be written at a 4th grade level. but this is something that i stated when i first started posting some four to five years ago. nothing has changed. except one poster leaving and never coming back. but he was an asshole.
