Glad you made it through okay.

I don't agree that religions despise rationality because, as I say below, 'rationality' is not a neutral concept. Religions are perfectly rational on their own terms. And while you might sometimes get threatened with violence by a religious person, it is the secular state that - in this case - is wielding the threat of coercive force against a religious community.
