The headline doesn't give us a lot of characters

to work with. 50 characters? Don't people say that for SEO, 85 characters is acceptable? On my sites, I set it at 120 or 140, which used to be the length of a tweet.

Anyway, what's arguably worse sometimes than an "nt" post is a post with an uninformative title, because then you have to actually click on it. But a whole bunch of "nt" posts basically expressing the same message, or insulting people, tends to come across as distracting noise.

Does what you have to say mostly boil down to the same message over and over, e.g. "When are you going to take action," aka "Put up or shut up"? I sometimes wish people would take more action but it usually has to be organized, because the typical individual is mostly inert and reluctant to go outside of his comfort zone alone. It's much easier to sit at a computer and analyze the situation (which has its benefits, because the activists can be inspired and equipped by that analysis).

So I would say, don't lecture the analysts too much about not taking action. They're kind of like academics, and what makes an academic an academic is that they sit around in their ivory tower talking about what other people do. Ideally, though, they've actually been involved in whatever field they're talking about. E.g., if a political science professor has been in politics before, or a business teacher has been in business before, that's helpful, and I think it's often the case. Science teachers also often spend some time in the lab doing research.

The DARE teachers should also probably try some of these drugs that they talk about. How are they going to convincingly talk about the harms from cocaine and heroin if they can't speak from experience of what it's like to take those drugs? Likewise, if someone wants to talk about what will or won't be effective activism, they should probably have some experience in activism.

Maybe it would help if you would write up a more detailed manifesto in which you lay out more comprehensively the ideas motivating your one-line posts. Maybe describe the various types of behaviors and people who are unhelpful to the movement and why. That way, you don't have to constantly berate people for falling in those categories; you can just express all that in one lengthy post and be done with it.
