How much does a sigpic influence our perception of a poster? I find it affects me markedly, take a rabbit blowing coloured bubbles with his pipe with a relaxed leg resting on his knee and those round shades and that hokey chair. It fits the style of the poster perfectly. Then there's peanuts arsenal of super-cute lovable Indians and things, I only read him for the pictures, they make me feel good like I'm communicating with boys in some self-deluded way. Well sigpics have fallen from favour for a lot of people, a security vulnerability or something, boychat used to be so innocent, virtually every one had a sigpic but those were the days when I believed FBI agents didn't give a fuck about a small collection of perverts chatting away. Still believe that. Or want to. |
