I think there was some exhibitionism going on. Not directed to me, but you can't keep younger brothers from observing a lot of this stuff. Handle me? No. I doubt they had the slightest interest. They were thinking girls and women.

I was never actually in a "jerk circle", but it is a meme. I don't recall it being said that handling each other had any role in it. Speculating wildly here -- unless there were some gays who were bold and adventuresome?
