BLs have been at every moment in gay history. Then came Harry Hay, founder of the first homosexual organization in the US and also a supporter of NAMBLA. Or look at the event that is often considered the most important one for gays in modern history, the Stonewall Riots. Allen Ginsberg was there, a later member of NAMBLA. Watching the documentary Chickenhawk he was also most probably a BL. He is the founder of the The Oscar Wilde Bookshop which was the first bookstore devoted to gay and lesbian authors. So I tried to think of the most prominent person whose name I could use who is most readily identifiable as a Homosexual by most people, someone who's sort of a psuedo-martyr. And Oscar Wilde was the most obvious at the time, so I called it the Oscar Wilde Memorial Bookshop." This quote is stated there without any objection whatsoever. Meaning: Someone who was in a relationship with a 15 year old boy was the "most obvious" homosexual at the time of the Stonewall Riots. Granted, Stonewall wasn't the only epicenter of activism around that time, there was also San Francisco with Harvey Milk. But wait, would you look at that: Milk was in a relationship with a 16 year old boy when he himself was 32. Well, Jim Kepner once said at the 10th international NAMBLa meeting in LA: "half of gay history is pedophile history."
