To a sports hater like me...

... and as a man with anti-authoritarian positions, the behavior imposed to this boy is both disgusting and abusive. I'm not kidding you, that's how I really feel about it. Yeah, I know the kid has consented to it and probably enjoys it too, and it somehow makes it OK I guess, but isn't he all the same victim of some kind of manipulation here?

Now, you may see me coming... So I'm just leaving you with two questions:

- Why will this boy probably never be traumatized or even feel deeply resentful about the experience later on?

- Why does the society at large think the boy should feel honored and be grateful of doing this stupid job?

I believe the answers to both questions above are the key to understanding how a lot of "child sexual abuse" works in our society... don't you think?
