"Child marriage", "child prostitution", "child sex tourism", etc. (in which anyone under 18 is of course defined as a "child") has suddenly become a big issue that the NGOs and government agencies want to address. Ostensibly, the goal is to keep kids safe from exploitation and also empower women by setting a standard that girls should spend their teens being educated rather than married. Never mind the fact that a lot of boys want and could benefit sex and/or a relationship with an older man, and that a lot of girls (particularly beautiful girls) would rather start a family with an older man than get involved in the drudgery of school and work. Patriarchy involves a lot of traditional practices that the globalists would call "human trafficking." It involves fathers telling their daughters, "No, you can't be a slut; you need to save your virginity and marry this man I've picked out for you and be faithful to him." It involves men being forced to marry and provide for women they deflower. It even involves men being allowed to have multiple wives. All these patriarchal practices are "pro-family" and tend to produce more offspring, while feminism is anti-family and tends to produce fewer offspring. There's a direct link between "empowering women" -- by sending them to school so that they can spend their peak years of beauty and fertility partying and behaving as sluts rather than starting a family -- and population decline. Getting rid of the distinct sex roles also diminishes sexual polarity and makes the sexes want and need each other less, which helps destroy a lot of families and prevent a lot of families from coming into existence to begin with. Also, to the extent that prohibiting man-boy relationships keeps boys from forming useful social ties and being happier, that decreases their ability to function properly in society and contribute to their families. That in turn has a negative effect on the family's ability to support its offspring, which is turn makes them less able or willing to have as many offspring. The end result is that we start to die out as a species. |
