Are we progressing, truly

Posted by Jessy on 2017-April-27 10:36:09, Thursday

or is just optics, hype, and gadgets ?

Boys had freedom some 40 50 years back, their wasn't cameras watching them on every street corner, some how debt wasn't invented to the extent it is now... so cops weren't absolutely everywhere, enforcing absolutly everything.

Organized activities, sports, outings, was not so "scheduled" as it is these days, so youth organized themselves, invented, got out-doors and interacted with one other, not so much now.

To get things required hard work, to obtain knowledge required getting a book, finding time and reading.. now we walk around with pretty much anything at our service...

So are we truly progressing? or are we slaves like we never have been before (collectively) ?

I would imagine that lots of stuff went on, that was desired but was kept secret and private because that was an option, today we invade that option with stories of hysterical abuse, predatory evilness, and mega jails that make profit from having more "inmates"...

Now that's wickedness, and i'm pretty sure that's not progress either.
