Wonderful question!!

I basically agree with you. HOWEVER, I think Pharmakon made some good points in that it is very difficult to draw the line sometimes between obscenity and erotica. One person's obscenity is another person's sensual bliss. Take spanking, for example. There are boys out there who are very aroused by erotic spanking or being spanked. Others may interpret spanking imagery as humiliating, disgusting, violent, etc.
